Description[]

Time-Break is an Emitter-Type Quirk that allows Akio to as the name implies to temporarily break through the Fourth Dimension known as the Space-Time Continuum. Upon activation a bright whitish-blue translucent energy surrounds Akio's entire body then fades in to a radiating aura coursing around the outer rim of his frame. It's flashy appearance is interpreted as a warning sign by most of Akio's opponents. The energy is a product of the quirk drawing power through time into this realm to disrupt it thus is the main source of his ability to break through time until it is depleted. During Time-Break, Akio is able to move his own body freely along with any object or person he interacts with. However Akio doesn't seem to have the ability to stop time necessarily, as time broken through seems to just slow down in his perspective, the quirk only allows Akio's body to become unbound by it's rules move through time at his own discretion. Enabling him to move faster or slower then those under it's regular influence. Observers of his quirk sometimes mistake it as a normal speed boost or teleportation quirk due to the similarly utilization of those types of quirk's abilities, Akio can appear to vanish in the eyes of his opponent or observers who can't keep up with his augmented speed while utilizing his quirk.

Long durations of Time-Break activation can leave Akio disoriented as his body still functions normally while broken through and gets fatigued by drawing in the energy to break through, common side-effects are headaches, bouts of nausea and bleeding from facial orifices, the nose, ears or even his eyes, most severe side-effect is becoming temporally comatose or paralyzed. The safest current long use duration is one minute exactly at most in a single instance, requiring a recharge period of an hour. Breaking this into smaller bursts extends the use and lessen the cooldown need for safe re-utilization of the quirk and is the preferred method.
